I pinned some pretty Thanksgiving pictures to my Pinterest board! We never have a table as pretty as these….but I love imagining. Our Thanksgiving is very casual. We have so many people, everyone just finds a place to sit…couches, barstool…wherever! Anyone else have a similar Thanksgiving? Though I have always dreamed of having a gorgeous table scape someday!
We ALWAYS have sweet potatoes with marshmallows! It’s a must. And my mom makes them the BEST!
This year I am contributing by making a green bean casserole and a mac n cheese bake! I also might be making a pie if I have time!
Do any of you make the entire meal yourself?
(props to you!!!!)
Also, about how many people are at your Thanksgiving?
I’m just curious! haha! Someday I also hope to make an entire Thanksgiving meal. I think it would be a lot of work and pretty expensive….but it would make me feel very accomplished!
I hope you have a blessed day!
Hugs!
Amanda

we have nearly 40 people with kids & adults so we always have people to pitch in to help!
thankfully my parents have a ton of space so we all have a chair, but it definitely is noisy & crowded! I LOVE IT!
Those tables are gorgeous!! My house definitely does not look like that on Thanksgiving. Ours is also very casual, everyone mingles and kids around! We usualy have around 15-20 people there.
Green bean casserole is my favorite! YUMMY!
Green bean casserole is a MUST!
mmm mac n cheese!!
mmmm I'm drooling....
yum yum yummy!
last year I hosted my first thanksgiving and am again this year! It is just my dad, step mom and sister coming though so not a huge crowd. But we are hosting both sets of family for Christmas-eek!
Me and my step mom cooked it last year but I did most of it and it was Tony's first time with the turkey-so fun!!
You will do great making it whenever that day comes :) And for this year-you will make awesome dishes! :)

The mac and cheese bake sounds delish! I am having Thanksgiving at my house this year for the first time. I am only having my mother-in-law (since my f-i-l is in the hospital) and maybe my husband's niece. But I am still cooking a whole big meal along with at least four pies :)
the sweet potatoes with marshmallows are my FAVORITE! After reading this, I'm already craving them again! Thanksgiving 2012 may be too long to wait... ;)
