Easter tidbits and ramblings.....

I had such a marvelous weekend! I'm so sad it had to end. It was action packed! And.....I took LOTS of pictures! :) Friday, I took my small group girls to see Soul Surfer. It was amazing. I will have to give you my review on it later this week. Saturday, we had the Easter Egg hunt for the apartment ministry we serve at. (the rain held off!!!!!!) Whooohooo! The rest of the day Saturday, Tim and I roamed around town doing lots of random things. It was fun.

Oh....we ate at a delicious chinese restaurant and I burnt my tounge on my egg drop soup! It still hurts right now! I must have really burnt it bad. So sad. Then Sunday, we celebrated the resurection of our Lord and had a wonderful day!!!!! Our choir sang an Easter concert on Sunday night and it was awesome! This is me and Mr. Tim in our special Easter outfits! :-) (We took this picture using the timer on my camera....it cut Tim's head off, but other than that...not too bad!)

My handsome hubby!!!

This is the only full length picture I had of my dress....and it was a weird pic. Oh well.

This is my cute nephew, Izaak looking at his Easter stuff!

His basket was hid under the bed!

My other cute nephew, Landen! Doesn't he have the most precious smile?

He found his Easter basket too!

They were hunting for some eggs inside....since it was raining! :(

This is a picture of our egg hunt at the apartments. I don't think I'm allowed to post pictures of the kid's faces without permision....so I just posted this group photo. It is such a neat ministry.

It has been raining non stop since last Friday!!!! It's crazy. I'm ready for some SUNSHINE!

Oh and I'm so excited to tell everyone that my running has improved greatly! Last night we had to run on the treadmills due to the nasty weather.....and I did really well and went longer than I ever have. :o) I'm so proud of myself. I did find it easier running on a treadmill. I guess outside it works your legs more or something....plus running against the wind and such. I'm glad that I have expierenced both.

Anyone have any running tips for me? I love hearing them!!!

We got Miss Maddie a new stuffed toy this weekend. She is in LOVE with him. It's a frog and we named him Kevin. :)

From my reading in the book of Matthew lately.....

"Ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened to you." Matthew 7:7

I hope everyone has a lovely Tuesday!

xoxo,

Amanda

Fun stuff!

I totally understand about the rain... I think we're going on about eight days straight now. Ugh.

We *loved* Soul Surfer! I would actually like to go see it again. Great film!
