Our little peanut is growing!!!!! Each day I feel like she looks different and bigger……and it makes my heart hurt a little bit. I LOVE watching her grow. But it just hurts seeing how fast it is going by and thinking about her getting married someday. Okay….I know I’m getting out of hand! ha!
At two months Eleanor weighs around 9 lbs 15 oz! She has really put on the weight!
E can wear newborn or size 1 diapers. We recently ran out of newborn diapers and had some size 1’s on hand. So, we have made those work. We have found out her little body doesn’t wear Huggies very well. She would pee and poop out of almost every huggie we put on her.
She has pooped in her bouncy seat, swing, carseat…..you name it! This one’s a pooper!
Eleanor still wears all newborn clothes. We try to put some 0-3 month on her if they look smallish. Sadly, most of her 0-3 clothes are summer clothes….so she is hardly going to get to wear any of them. Unless she gets really cubby FAST! I guess that’s what happens when your baby decides to come early!
E is eating really good! We have stuck with breastfeeding and it has only gotten better! I’m so thankful I didn’t give up. I wanted to give up soooooo many times in the first month. When E takes a bottle, she will eat about 3 oz.
Eleanor’s Likes:
*The swing! (finally!!!!! we thought she would never like it!)
*Her singing, glowing seahorse! That thing is like magic I tell you!
*Her zoo play gym. She will lay under it for a long time.
*Eating
*Sitting up against something or someone. She LOVES looking around!
*Shopping! We started early…..it was bound to happen.
*Sucking her fists.
Eleanor’s Dislikes:
*Tummy time! Ugh….we try so hard. But she hates it.
*The crib!!!!! -sigh-
Other than that she is a really happy camper! She is starting to smile sooooo much! It just melts my heart!
Sweet Memories:
*E starting to sleep through the night!!!!! wahooooooo! This happened the week I went back to work. Thank you sweet girl….it made it so much easier on mommy!
*E’s first time wearing her swimsuit! We actually never made it in the water because she had herself a little meltdown. :) But she still looked the part!
*E went to her first youth camp at our church! She heard a lot of preaching and some really loud worship music! She was a trooper. I only worried about the loud music hurting her ears a few times. haha!
*E went to the sitter for the first time as mommy went back to work!!!!!!! ahhhhhh! I thought this was going to be awful, but we both handled it really well. She loves the sitters (she is an awesome Christian woman!) and it’s only 2 days a week! I get the best of both worlds.
*E celebrated her first 4th of July! She was styling in and adorable patriotic dress.
*Went to her first wedding!
*Went to the zoo!
*Went to a recording studio!
*Went to the church nursery for the first time! She did amazing and never cried! yay!
Ok….now check out the difference 1 month makes!!!!!!!!! She looks SOOOO different!
We love our baby girl so much! Everyday is such a joy and so special. We continually thank the Lord for giving Eleanor to us. We love telling her about Jesus even though she doesn’t understand yet. It will be our joy to teach her everyday of her life!
Sometimes I have to pinch myself.
I’m a momma!!!!!
Thank you Lord!

So sweet!!! Yes, she has grown and changed A LOT this past month! What a little love :)
She is really filling out! So cute!!! And she looks like she has come to life! It only gets better. :)
She looks like both of you! Love the update!
I can see how much she has grown in the pictures. She is a real cutie! Glad to hear how well things are going. My babies didn't like the crib much either. They preferred the carrier or swing which was fine with me- as long as they slept ;)
Keep treasuring every minute. Children are a blessing for sure!
She is just precious! I love looking at the one month/two month comparison!
Wow - she really has grown and filled out in a month. How cute! Love the photos
She is so amazing Amanda!!! And I know, each month's growth does hurt the heart a little bit. :) Isn't it crazy how tiny those little legs are at first? I'll never forget that. I am so, so happy for you and that you are loving being a mama to your sweet girl. You are a beautiful, wonderful mom! I'm so glad you stuck with breastfeeding, as it does continue to get easier and easier - just wait until next month - you'll be amazed!! It's nice to have "easy to transport" food supply. :) I love reading about her sweet little adventures!
She's growing so fast! You'll be surprised how much she grows in the next month or so ;)
they grow so quickly! I can't believe she's already 2 months old!
and yay for her first experience of sleeping through the night...maybe she'll enjoy it so much that she'll make it her favorite habit! ha!
Thanks for commenting on my blog! Your daughter is beautiful, and it is so true, the days fly and I almost can't remember Chloe at this age. So sad, but I'm starting to believe that each stage only gets better!
Ah! The seahorse - we don't go anywhere without it!!!
